ProForce^® Strikezone 200 SC Insecticide Has Landed!

Indigo Specialty Products has just launched its new insecticide: ProForce® Strikezone 200 SC, a broad-spectrum solution for the effective management of turf-damaging insects, including caterpillar pests such as Cutworm and Armyworm, as well as Argentine Stem Weevil. Formulated in Australia as a 200 g/L Indoxacarb suspension concentrate, ProForce Strikezone 200 SC delivers rapid feeding cessation within hours of ingestion, reducing pest damage and protecting turf quality.

ProForce Strikezone 200 SC works primarily through ingestion, with some contact activity, and its translaminar movement allows it to penetrate leaf tissue for enhanced effectiveness and residual performance. It forms a protective barrier on leaf and thatch surfaces, while its low odour, non-volatile formulation ensures safe, easy application in sensitive areas. The product is UV stable, compatible with common tank mixes, and has minimal impact on beneficial insects when used according to label directions.

For optimal control of Argentine Stem Weevil, ProForce Strikezone 200 SC should be applied in late winter or early spring when over-wintered adults first appear, with a follow-up application in early summer to target both adults and larvae. Caterpillar pests should be treated immediately when activity is observed, with irrigation and mowing delayed for 24 hours to maximise efficacy. Indoxacarb’s unique mode of action as a sodium channel blocker minimises the risk of resistance and ensures reliable control of turf pests.
