Indigo Specialty Products is pleased to announce the launch of ProForce® Miticor 980 G Granular Soil Fumigant, a high-strength, broad-spectrum soil treatment designed to improve soil health and plant establishment across turf construction, renovation, nursery, ornamental, and horticultural production.
Containing 980 g/kg Dazomet, ProForce Miticor 980 G acts as a methyl isothiocyanate (MITC) generator, targeting soil-borne fungi, nematodes, weeds, and insects. Its granular formulation ensures uniform application with reduced drift risk and does not require gas-tight plastic covers, making it compatible with standard turf renovation equipment such as rotary hoes and power rakes.
ProForce Miticor 980 G works by decomposing in moist soil to release MITC, a potent biocide that penetrates the soil profile, disrupting cellular membranes and enzyme function in pests under both aerobic and anaerobic conditions. This broad-spectrum activity provides control of common turf pathogens such as Fusarium, Pythium, Rhizoctonia, Verticillium, Phytophthora, and Sclerotinia, while also managing nematodes, soil insects, and germinating weed seeds. By creating a clean, pest- and weed-free soil environment, Miticor 980 G enhances seedling establishment, improves root development, and supports healthy turf or horticultural crop growth.
