Indigo Specialty Products is pleased to announce the appointment of Caine James to the position of Market Manager – Turf Production.

Caine brings more than 30 years of experience within the Australian turf industry, spanning turf management, turf production, and product development. His career includes 16 years in sales, product development, and turf certification roles with leading Australian organisations, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of turfgrass cultivation and production systems, as well as the operational and performance requirements of turf professionals across both maintenance and elite sporting environments.

Caine holds formal qualifications in turf management and project management and has extensive practical experience across a broad range of turf surfaces, including golf courses, cricket wickets, and sports fields. This combination of technical expertise and hands-on industry experience positions him well to contribute to continued innovation, quality, and sustainability within turf production.

In his role at Indigo Specialty Products, Caine will be responsible for driving the national strategic focus and development of the turf production market for the Indigo product portfolio. This will include close collaboration with GTS and allied customers within the segment, supporting effective product positioning in the turf production sector, engaging with key national grower associations and industry groups, conducting farm visits, and assisting in the development of tailored agronomic programs and product packages to enhance market uptake. Caine will also identify product development opportunities to further strengthen the company’s overall business offering.
